The Naples Botanical Garden showcases the fascinating and alluring world of subtropical plants. It is a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the gorgeous scenery, but it is also an important conservation center and education program for kids. Families both young and old can find something to enjoy at the Botanical Garden in Naples, FL.
Founded in 1993 by a non-profit organization of plant lovers, the garden has grown to 170 acres with over 220,000 visitors per year. The garden is divided into several sections including a Caribbean Garden, Orchid Garden, Brazilian Garden, Water Garden and so many more.
Your kids can join the education program where they can learn everything from composting and worms to mangrove habitats and Florida’s stormy weather. These W.O.N.D.E.R programs have monthly themed lessons and activities. No prior registration is necessary, and all programs are included with regular Garden admission! Just show up and get ready to have fun!
There are many more events to enjoy in the garden. It is a great place for a wedding ceremony, but there are more creative events and festivities throughout the year. These include Hats in the Garden, based on the great English tradition of using hats as statement fashion pieces, the garden attendees show off their style. Or Foolin’ Around in the Garden with is a gala celebration with dinner, dancing, and live entertainment.
